Long EZ and Vari EZ Nose Gear Ratchet Kit

This is the New Design ratchet recommended by Mike Melvill. This retrofit prevents the nose gear from responding to un commanded up or down movements. The NG61/NG65/NG67 assembly is removed by unbolting it at the universal joint. The ratchet handle is floxed and glassed into the panel per Figure 2. NG65 is separated from NG61. The hex piece is then pined to NG65 and the two pieces are re assembled. The ratchet then becomes the bearing for NG65. The entire crank assembly NG61/NG65 is then inserted through the ratchet and reconnected at the universal joint. Reversing this procedure allows the entire crank assembly to be removed for inspection or maintenance. Comes with complete installation instructions. All moving parts are hardened steel.
