    Booking Conditions:

    1. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid in full six weeks prior to your arrival at "Le Four Rouge". However, if your holiday is to commence within six weeks of your booking the cost of your holiday will be due in full.

    2. Bookings are either from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday depending on the property. Rental commences at 16.00 and finishes at 10.00 on day of departure.Out of season by arrangement.

    3. Prices include gas, water and normal electricity expenses. No unauthorised use of personal electical appliances ( e.g fans, heaters,electric blankets etc).Winter lets may incur a fuel supplement which will be advised.

    4. A 100 Euro cash deposit payable on arrival will be required from tenants against damage and cleaning and will be refunded in full within 1 week of departure provided the house is left in satisfactory order.

    5. Tenants are required to leave the house fully cleaned in readiness for incoming guests. Rubbish bins are to be emptied, cookers and fridges cleaned and emptied of all food stuffs on departure. Any additional cleaning required will be charged an initial 40 euros for the first hour and a further 25 euros per hour thereafter if required.

    6. Duvets and pillows are supplied but a full bed linen service is available upon prior notification.

    7. Rental charges are based on the agreement that no more than the original number of persons listed on the reservation form may occupy the facility or use the premises.

    Due to free roaming live-stock, sorry we are unable to accept pets.

    The use of the accommodation, equipment and any other amenities at "La Chauvelais" is at the tenant's own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to guests personally or their belongings (including cars) . French law requires that guests provide for themselves any insurance they consider advisable which should include public liability. However, under no circumstances shall the owners' liability to the tenant exceed the amount paid to the owners for the rental period.

    Approaching from the West via CHATEAUBRIANT:
          1) Leave CHATEAUBRIANT on the "N171", in the direction LAVAL.
          2) After about 2km, there is a large concrete silo on your left...start slowing down!!
          3) Slightly further on, again on your left hand side notice a converted barn,
              now a "Depot Vente" acalled "EuroCroc".
          4) After 50m take the right hand turning at the road sign "La Chauvelais" (thats's our hamlet)
              and continue for 500m.  We are the last property with a large wooden gate on 
              your left hand side which opens onto farm land.
           5) Welcome to  "le four rouge"   

              
       Approaching from the East via LAVAL;

     

                   1) Join the "N171" at LAVAL, in the direction of CHATEAUBRIANT / ST. NAZAIRE                                               
           2) After approximately 55km ( and 5km from CHATEAUBRIANT ) 
    you pass through  the village of  SOUDAN.
          3) You will pass a petrol station on your right, after approximately 500m 
    you will see infront  of you ta "Depot Vente" called "EuroCroc".
    Take a left hand turn opposite the entrance  to the car park,
     this is before the building itself and is sign-posted "La Chauvelais" ( our hamlet). 
              If you reach a large grain silo on your right you have gone too far !!
        4) Follow the road past all the farm buildings as our house and gites are
     the last collection of buildings on you left before the open farm land. 
     If the wooden gate is closed, please open  it and drive in but "beware of children".
