Ferries
We usually go overnight with a cabin
from Portsmouth to Le Havre, Caen or St. Malo . You will arrive early in the morning and
then be able to drive South in one day. Le Havre is the closest for driving
via Orleans and the N20/A20.

Travel
The main airports for our
region are Bordeaux and Toulouse. Toulouse is
slighter closer, driving time approx 1hr 30min, but we recommend that you choose based on
fare and convenience at the UK end.
There are small International Airports at Limoges, Agen and
Bergerac.

Eurostar / TGV
If taking the Eurostar from London to
Agen, request to go via Lille, you only have to cross a platform with your luggage!
The TGV train runs from Lille and
Paris to Bordeaux and Agen.
Paris to Agen is approx. 4 hours.
Agen is about 50 minutes from the
Chateaux, or change trains at Agen and take the small train to our local railway station,
(about 6 miles) at Monsempron-Libos
If you want a day in Paris then you
can arrive at Paris Nord/North, on the Eurostar and then cross Paris to Paris
Montparnasse, on the South side of the city, to continue your journey on the TGV, the high
speed express train.
