If your MWCSCC member club has a home page and would like links here for information or upcoming events on your page, please notify the secretary
The goals of the MWCSCC are to promote motor sports in the area, produce a common set of rules governing TSD rallys and autocrosses, provide scheduling for events, and provide an insurance base for member clubs. Member clubs are expected to attend MWCSCC meetings on a regular basis and to put on at least one event per year open to the general community. There are no dues as such, but there are fees and assessments to cover operating expenses and to support the annual individual and club competitions in Autocross and Rally, trophies for which are awarded at an annual banquet, typically held in January/February. Upcoming events and meeting announcements are available on the council hotline: 202-726-2289 and are published in the Stopwatcher, a regional autosports newsletter (for subscriptions/samples call 301-493-8888 or send $20 to: Stopwatcher, 4522 Amherst Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814).
Rule books for Championship Autocrosses and Rallies are available for sale at most events or through the respective committee chairmen. The new standard rally rules for non-championship events are available online here. Area Autocross information and scores are available from John Todd's new MWCSCC Autocross page. Area rally information is available here as well as on the Branded page.
Results from the 2nd Annual MWCSCC Novice School A/C are available online: heat1, heat2, heat3, heat4.
The MWCSCC meets on the second Monday of the month, except for June and August, at 8 PM in the Club Room of the Layhill Cafe & Lounge, located on the west side of Layhill Rd, just north of Bel Pre Rd. Minutes of the last meeting are available electronically to the representative, alternate and president of member clubs. Contact the secretary to update your address or to get your minutes via e-mail.
