Avoncroft is a fascinating open-air museum, home to many unique buildings of which the Guesten Hall Roof is the 'jewel in the Crown'. The historic timber roof was made in the 1330's for the guest hall at Worcester Cathedral Priory. After a checkered history the roof was rescued, rebuilt and now sits proudly atop the purpose-built New Guesten Hall.
New Guesten Hall is a unique venue for any meeting, lecture, seminar or formal dinner. Set in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, but with excellent motorway access and ample parking, the hall offers 21st Century facilities crowned by a beautiful medieval architecture. A second venue, the impressive Long Room, is suitable for smaller meetings or as a break-out room.
