If you are planning a trip to Munich and would like to stay in a clean, reasonably-priced guestroom/apartment in a quiet, central location, please consider being our guest.

We are situated along the banks of the scenic river Isar (jogging and cycle paths), directly across the street form the Deutsches Museum (parking permitted) and close to Gasteig, home of the Munich Philharmonic.

The Viktualien Markt and Marienplatz may be reached within 20 minutes on foot. All public transportation is nearby, including a direct bus service to Marienplatz (5 stops).

Maps and literature on Munich with recommendations of typical Bavarian restaurants are available. I am also a ticket agent for day trips and excursions. There is a convenient corner café for meals.

We offer rooms in a typical Munich tenement house with private bath or shower and two furnished apartments. Rooms range in price from DM 80.-- to DM 160,--- per night. Credit cards are accepted with a 5% surcharge; cash payment is, however, preferred.

I can offer you the following choice of rooms:

  • two very quiet two-room apartments (each ) on upper floors. Unfortunately there is no lift in the building. Each apartment is 50 m2 and has a bedroom, sitting-room, WC, shower and kitchen (suitable for preparing breakfast). Each apartment is available at a rate of DM 160,-- / night for two people (DM 135,-- without the use of the kitchen), DM 40,-- / night for a third person;

  • a double room with double bed and a separate private bathroom (bathtub, WC) at a rate of DM 125,-- / night for two people;

  • a twin double equipped with shower cabin and sink in the room itself and use of a shared WC in the hall near the room, at a rate of DM 105,-- / night for two people;

  • a small double room with double bed, equipped with shower cabin and sink in the room itself and shared use of WC in the hall near the room, at a rate of DM 85,-- / night for two people.
    Several budget rooms, with shared bath @ DM 40,- per person.

    There is a DM 5,-- surcharge per room for a one-night stay.

To reserve rooms, I request a credit card number with valid expiration date; however, cash payment is preferred. Please make arrangements to pay your full rent in DM upon arrival. You are expected to pay in full for the number of nights reserved.

    Please also convey your approximate arrival time. For those coming in from the airport, please take the S-Bahn train into Munich and get off at Rosenheimer Platz. From there, you may either walk over (about 10 blocks) or take a cab from outside the Hilton.
