Recently recovered by the Museum Society from its storage place in an old barn was a crane used by the Royal Flying Corps at Montrose circa 1913. Chairman David Butler left and member Graham Philip are seen giving it the once-over. Surprisingly it was in good nick and capable of working again. Some shot-blasting and a coat of paint and it will be as good as new.
