A wartime(?) funeral, heading north out of Montrose High Street, the coffin being transported by a Crossley Tender, reg. no. SR 1356, the local Angus area code. By the dress of the officers in front it is Royal Flying Corps, but those each side of the tender look more Royal Air Force. This could be around the time of the change over from Flying Corps to Air Force on April 1, 1918, hence the mix of uniforms. There is no date or info on this original postcard, another from the extensive collection of Tom Valentine. Again any help most welcome.
