This is a view along Lombard Street from top of the 'crookedest street
in the world' part. We walked all the way to the Coit Tower which you can
see on top of the wooded hill in the distance.
This is the, more typical, view from the bottom of the crookedest part.
The cars snake round hairpin bends down here - the pedestrians walk down
stairs.
From there we walked further down Lombard Street. Although this is
Russian Hill this is not the actual spot where the fictional Barbary Lane
is supposed to be, but this wooded hill on the left might be how it would
look.
