Who is A. Ibrahim?

If you are like me than you will be curious to find out who is behind this web site. Let me give you a brief description of who I am:

I grew up in a normal, middle class family. As with so many of us, my life too was worked out for me by my loving, well meaning parents and relatives.

For a number of years I lived more or less comfortably within the boundaries set by them often "in the name of Allah".

Confronted by many other religions and ideas of how to live a meaningful live I set out to discover the truth for myself. I chose a number of selfish, evil ways to find satisfaction for my yearning heart.

However, after days of outward pleasure the feeling of emptiness came back in an ever increasing measure. Getting disgusted about myself I tried hard to improve my life stile.

Good deeds brought me some kind of comfort but they could not hide my terrible inclination to selfishness. It broke through time and time again especially in lonely hours when I did not have to perform before others.

In that painful process, realizing that it is impossible to detect and please infinite reality as a finite being, I prayed wholeheartedly, "God if you are there, show me which way is the right one!"

A few days later I heard the Eternal One mercifully speaking through some passages of the Bible which was given to me by a friend!

The emotions that followed are difficult to describe....As a result I confessed my sins and asked Jesus to forgive me. Immediately I received a deep assurance that by His shed blood on the cross He was able to pardon me. With tears of joy and relief I pleaded with Him to come in my life and use it for His glory!

Since that incredible experience my life has indeed changed, literally like day and night!

I now follow Jesus Christ who died for my sins on the cross, who rose again on the third day, who promises eternal life in heaven and who says:

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13

Whoever comes to me I will never drive away. John 6:37

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the word was God. The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us....He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him....Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:1,14,11

I lovingly plead with you to pray to God that He may reveal to you who Jesus really is! This Web site is designed to help you answer possible questions.
