Stainless Steel
Spokes & Nipples Now
Available for BMW
Tubeless Wire Wheels

Here's the short of it!
Stainless spokes and nipples have always been available
for older BMW's and many people have upgraded to that style. There's no
plating to come off and they don't rust like factory spokes.
Then tubeless wire wheels came along for BMW's! The spokes/nipples
are unique to that wheel and owners were left to watch the spokes/nipples
rust.
According to BMW, their tubeless wire wheels cannot be
built by humans but only by their machine. If you bent the rim, you had
to buy a new wheel.
Options for Tubeless Wheels
1. Replacement
of your bent rim with the BMW factory
part and new OEM or stainless spokes & nipples.
2. Replacement
of your tubeless rim with a standard tube type alloy rim using stainless
spokes & nipples.
3. Restoration
of your tubeless wheels by polishing the rims and relacing with stock or
stainless spokes & nipples.
Tubeless rims for restoration MUST be perfectly true
or new parts must be used. There is no adjustment of runouts possible with
the spokes as a regular wheel would have.
Don't ask how to build these wheels or for stainless
steel spoke & nipple kits. This is NOT a good DIY project.
Woody of Woody's Wheel Works in Denver can also build
these wheels with the same stainless spoking options. He has experience
with these wheels and (I hope) will give a faster turnaround than I can.
