If you are still stuck on a problem, and you have consulted the FAQ page, send me an E-mail and I'll try to help. Most problems tend to be to do with modems. Assuming you have checked both the Modems page and the Modem Compatibility List and still cannot get anywhere, try the following:

Set Trace On (Psion-T) then perform a Modem Query (Psion-Y). If this works and produces sensible looking information about your modem on the screen, proceed to the next step. If this step times out, send me the Trace File (\FAXIT\FAXDUMP). Its just a plain text file so you can easily E-mail it.

If the preceding step works ok, try to send a fax. Again, if this fails, E-mail me the Trace File and I'll take a look at it.

The Trace File is over-written with each Query Modem or Fax attempt, so if you are trying to capture different situations, copy the Trace File somewhere else between each run.
