This is the entire Dawe family. My wife Shep (yes,it's an odd name, but her maiden name was Sheppard). Oliver (15), who want's to be an RAF airframe technician. Charley (9) who wants to be a television presenter, with her own show! Max (8) who wants to be an artist. Shep used to be my boom operator, and worked on most of the major movies with me. Who knows, we may work together again in the future.

The Jacobean farmhouse which is our home. We've been there for twelve very happy years, and hope to stay there for the rest of our lives.
It seems to have been built around the middle of the 17th century, and has later Victorian additions, and a very definite Jacobean ghost!
We are still trying to convert the barn into a recreational area.

One of Max's drawings.
Max loves drawing and painting and want's to be an artist when he grows up. I wonder if I'll be able to afford one of his paintings when he grows up? Mind you, I bought this one from him for £1 (!)

We have various hobbies between us, Oliver is now the main computer buff in the family, having taken over from me. If you want a computer built or modified, he's your man. His e.mail address is OllyDawe@aol.com  Shep is very much into home life, and has  just redesigned the garden with a waterfall etc. Her e.mail address is ShepDawe@aol.com
My hobbies are computers and printing, which go very well together. Back in 1977, when I bought my first Commodore PET, I got totally hooked on computers, and started a company called Gemsoft, which was one of the first software houses in the UK. Gemsoft ended up as the main Apple dealer for Surrey, as well as supplying games and business software. However, in 1980, somebody made me an offer for the company which I couldn't refuse and I returned to the film industry, a decision I have never regretted. (I can't say how the industry felt about it!)
