Hi there! I'm Tony Dawe, and I work in the UK film and television industry as a Production Sound Mixer. If you don't know what a Sound Mixer is, he or she is the person who records all the dialogue and sound effects on location, and sometimes the music if it is played on camera. So now you know who to blame when you sit in the cinema, and you can't hear the dialogue! |

I've been a sound engineer for years, starting at the famous Abbey Road recording studios, where the Beatles made many of their recordings, and since 1969 a Production Sound Mixer in the UK film industry. I've been extremely lucky to have worked on some of the biggest movies, including "Return of the Jedi", "Batman", Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", and "Sleepy Hollow"
