Next Practice

Date: Wednesday 26 th May

Time: 8-10pm approx

We have been going for three months now and we are still getting a good crowd regularly attending. The new robot is still proving very popular with everyone.
We are now getting some of the pupils' parents, who used to play quite a few years ago, turning up. Its nice to see this kind of support from the community.
A general improvement in everyone's standards can already be seen after just one month. Our guest coach, Earl, is very pleased with the progress and the general enthusiasm of the kids.

We are aiming to keep the session open most weeks throughout the year, throughout all the school holidays too.
We are planning to hold a Club Tournament/Competition one weekend in the next couple of months. Please keep an eye out for details on this Web Page.
If you have your own table tennis bat please bring it along, if you don't, no need to worry as the Club has its own.
There will be a small fee for these sessions to cover the costs of replacing balls, nets etc. This will be 50p for pupils and £1 for adults.

Guest Coaches & Visitors

Every couple of weeks we should be getting one of Wales' best and friendliest coaches, Earl Jeffers to give expert tuition. Earl has been playing table tennis for over 30 years and coaching for quite a few. He's also a buddy of mine.

The headmaster made an appearance the first week and also had a game. We are expecting some more visits from him in the future.  We have to thank him lots as it wouldn't be possible without him.

Richard is a parent of two of the pupils attending the sessions. He used to play in the Swansea league in his younger days.
