Born in Kentucky in 1958; Dad was drafted shortly after college, and was
stationed at Fort Knox.
Earliest childhood memories were at age four, in Denver, CO, where Dad went
to Denver Seminary.
I 've lived in New Jersey most of my life, aside from a few years in Massachusetts
in the late 60's.
Four years of higher education at The King's College in Briarcliff
Manor, NY (1976-1980) (now located in NYC)
A few more courses at Salem Community College, Carney's Point, NJ: BASIC,
COBOL, computer history and statistics.
I've been a substitute teacher (so-so hours, lousy pay without a teaching
certificate, obnoxious kids), and a convenience store trainee manager (worse
hours and barely-better pay). Some other jobs were at nuclear generating
stations, mostly in construction, and at the DuPont Experimental Station in
Delaware.
My current position is Technical Assistant III at Educational Testing Service , where I have
been for nearly 10 years.
Hobbies/interests:
collecting comic books (just for reading, really; comic book investment seems to have been sort of a fad)Here are a few links I have bookmarked.
mostly Marvel; occasional good DC books; a limited selection of other publishers
computer games - Tomb Raider I-II-III-Last Revelation, Civilization II and III, Colonization, Imperialism, Omikron, The Sims, some shoot-em-ups. One of these days, I'll get around to playing The Longest Journey.
role-playing games - especially Hero (Champions). also D&D, GURPS, In Nomine, and Feng Shui recently.
SCUBA diving
science fiction - Stargate SG1, Enterprise, Farscape, books and an occasional movie
building and upgrading home computers
And here is some fun stuff I got in the e-mail recently. I shared it around the office for a good laugh.
This document is a bunch of "fortune cookie" sayings that I swiped from herdthinners.com (a fun site).
And some parody songs and other silly stuff.
This is my web page for the Princeton Gamers Union. And my Hero System downloads page.
