This small scale weekend is based at the Wharf Inn, Holt Heath,near Ombersley, between Worcester
and Kidderminster in Worcestershire.
The Site is a camping and caravan site along side the River Severn overlooking
the Holt Fleet Bridge.
(Water and toilets available 24 hrs.)
Being in the middle of May the weather can be unpredictable i.e. glorious sun or cold rain
- so come prepared for both!. A SPAR shop is 150m.

The purpose of the low cost weekend is to enable sociable sessioning to take place by
those who attend - many of whom are those only just getting going into Bluegrass in all
the pub rooms and weather permitting outside on the bank of the river . Many experienced;
players and singers attend and intentionally lead and support the sessions. The focus;
of the weekend is to give help to those just starting their journey into Bluegrass .

Many local bands give support to the sessioning and in the evening concerts take place by
scratch bands made from those who attend. The last band on Friday and Saturday nights are
'proper' booked bands.

Concerts take place in the pub function room. There is range of food, cooked;
breakfast, hot meals during the day and posh ones at night and a good range of quality beer
