| Over thirty-four years experience in the construction and engineering industry including structural design and drafting, product marking, engineering management, and consulting.
Participation in the design of office buildings and hotels with construction costs exceeding $150,000,000; management level responsibilities for the efforts of E/A teams designing and inspecting dozens of commercial and industrial projects. Mr. Chaffin began consulting work in 1985 as a self-employed consulting engineer with initial projects including distressed building repairs and third- party construction monitoring for lenders; later continued work as principal of Chaffin Associates performing structural design and construction document preparation. Mr. Chaffin is associated with the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. |
