Q: Healthy Kishka Healthy Kishka (for Cholent) Grate/process and combine the following: 1 potato, 1 onion, 2 carrots. Add 1 beaten egg, 1 c. matzoh meal, 1/3 pkg. onion soup mix. Shape it into a tube. If it is too mushy to handle, add more matzoh meal. Roll into foil or a Reynolds plastic oven bag. Freeze. When ready for the cholent, pierce foil or plastic a few times with a fork. Simmer overnight in cholent.
