uestions from people whom I meet about what I do for a living are interesting to me, as I usually try to gauge their reactions. Typical ones include "Oh, so you’re a brokuh," or "So you’re a compyootah programmuh." I live in New York City, you see. I am neither a broker nor a computer programmer, just a former English major who likes to break things. I test software for PaineWebber, which is actually a pretty cool thing for a former English major to do.
