Elana's String Beans

Cut the tips off of 1 lb. of string beans. Blanch by dropping them into boiling water for about a minute and then removing them and rinsing immediately in a sieve with cold water. Marinate them overnight in a mixture of 4 T. soy sauce, 2 T. almond or olive oil, and 1 T. sugar.
