Imperial Quarantines List
This list will be updated as necessary by the ISS PD. Input and requests of Imperial citizens to add or remove from the list are encouraged and will be taken into careful account.
ISP Restrictions
ISP Restrictions are established only when necessary to protect the peace of the Empire or the continued well-being of the human race as a whole. All questions concerning any banning in this section or any rumored ISP actions should be sent directly to the ISP PD.
- Geneb system: Entry into this system is strictly prohibited by the ISP. Any position not given specific permission by the ISP PD will be captured or destroyed when found; this includes Imperial positions. The only exception to the prohibition of entry is the ISP patrol fleet enforcing this restriction.
- Belter system, moon Lefter: Landing on this planet without the specific permission of the ISP PD or the governor of IMP Market Garden is strictly prohibited.
ISS Restrictions
ISS Restrictions are established only if an action can be shown to be harmful to human beings, to a sentient race native to the world, or to the environment of the world itself. such Restrictions apply to the Imperial Services as well as all other Imperial citizens. The temporary prohibitions against further colonization on worlds where protected alien races are known to live are designed to protect the rights and development of these races. the situation on each of these worlds will be assessed periodically on an individual basis, and the restrictions will be changed as appropriate. Any questions about the planets on this list or those that are rumored to be "quarantined" for any reason, should be sent to the ISS PD.
- Baghdad system, planet Rike: Temporary ban on further colonization to protect native race.
- Barque system, planet Ilmar: This planet is a primordial world undergoing the early stages of evolution. To protect the species from interference with their evolutionary development, this planet is off limits to all except qualified scientific groups.
- Bluecrab system, planet Fairway: Fairway is the planet on which the Gregos were resettled after they were evacuated from Eolmy prior to the Canally Nova. There is a temporary ban on further colonization of Fairway to protect the establishment of the Gregos race. This ban will expire on 198-1.
- Boktar system, planet Ogggg: This planet is a juvenile boktarite. It is in the process of transformation. The IND colony formerly located on Ogggg was ingested by the juvenile. Landing on this planet without prior authorization is strictly prohibited. This planet is off-limits.
- Boktar system, planets Befta, Epita, Focta, & Scupta: These planets are adult forms of the Boktarite lifeform. They are in various stages of developement. Focta Boktar swallowed (ate) the only ship authorized to attempt landing, a MYR explorer. Further attempts to land are strictly prohibited.
- Capellan system, planets Capella, Dogleg, & Utopia: Resources of these first colonized worlds in the Periphery are streched to the limits.No new outposts or colonies may be built on these planets, existing colonies are allowed to build additional outposts.
- Capellan system, planet Utopia: it is illegal to remove any Vimpeler from the planet.
- Forus system, planet Snore: Temporary ban on further colonization to protect the various native races here.
- Rampant system, planet Orlus: It is illegal to remove any Femole from the planet. This animal is critical to the planetary ecology.
- Spikan system, planet Kolars: Temporary ban on further colonization to protect native race.
- Stormgate system, planet Stormgate-4: All contact with the primitive race known as the Mer must be avoided to prevent a form of "racial shock". No further colonization is permitted.
- Viscon system, planet Listrom's Hole: Temporary ban on further colonization to protect native race.
- Wisepran system, moon Aesop's: this planet is under medical quarantine due to a dangerous plague existing in the atmosphere. No further colonization is permitted.
ICN Declared War Zones
Occasionally, the ICN will declare a system, planet or group of space squares to be a war zone. Travel in a war zone is at your own risk. IND will be actively targeted in these war zones. Any questions about these war zones or any "rumored" war zone should be directed to the ICN PD.
- Old World (9) system: The entire system is a declared war zone.
- Newbian (2) system: the entire Newbian system is declared a war zone.
- Quoda (10), Barque (23), & Swarm (20) systems: These entire systems are declared war zones.
