Discover the amazing world of science as the SMLI staff leads
you on a fantastic summer journey. On the grounds of the Leeds Pond Preserve, spend
a week getting to know our live animals, exploring life as an astronaut, or sampling the
silly side of science.
These exciting and adventurous summer programs are designed to
meet the specific needs of each age group in length of time and content. Each grade
level will conduct experiments, make crafts, and act out tasks related to each week's
theme. Each group will have its own instructor and counselor. Campers will be
organized into independent groups based on the grade level they completed by June
2002.
Youngsters in the Nursery program must be at least 4 years of age.
For an additional fee, families may sing up for an extended day
one hour before camp. Children play games or make crafts before camp.
