Special Holiday Events

These workshops give parents a "science option" on a weekday when schools are closed. A 1 ½ hour session is offered with two age groups: grades K-2 and 3-5 and start at 10:30am.

Fee: Members- $12, Non-Members- $18. Pre-registration is required.

A special 1 hour nursery workshop is offered for a 1 hour session

Fee: Members- $10, Non-Members- $15. Pre-registration is required.

Thursday, March 28
- PASSOVER / Candle Making

How many ways can you light up your life? Come to the Science Museum and learn the art of candle making. See how many different kinds of candles you can make to brighten your night.

Note: There is a material fee of $2 per child. Each child should bring a small glass jar.

Friday March 29
- GOOD FRIDAY / Something's Fishy

Come join us at the Science Museum to learn all about our fishy friends. Learn what Gyotaku is a you'll get to decorate a T-shirt with a fishy image.

Additional Materials Fee: $1 per child.
