The science Museum of Long Island offers a variety of scouting programs designed to complete badges and activities for most ages of scouts. Activities are held at the Museum on our 36 acre preserve. programs are offered after school and on weekends. All programs are $125 and run 1 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted. the group size is 15 scouts with an additional charge of $5 per child above 15 ( maximum size 25 scouts).

GIRLS SCOUTS

Brownies Try-Its; Grades 1-3, Ages 6-9

Earth and Sky, Water Everywhere, Science Wonders, Space Explore, Plants, Animals, Outdoor happenings.

Junior badges; Grades 4-6, Ages 9-12

Aerospace, geology, Science Sleuth, sky search, water wonders, ecology, plants and animals.

Cadet and Senior Interest Projects; Grades 6-12, Ages 11-18

BOY SCOUTS

Tiger and Cub Scout Activities: Grades 1-3, Ages 6-9

STARLAB, Animals, Rock and Minerals, Beach Study, nature hike

Webelos Badges: Grades 4-5, Ages 9-11

Geologist, Naturalist, Scientist, Forester

Boy Scout merit badges; Grades 6-12 Ages 11-18
