The Science Museum of Long Island offers the 
widest diversity of science programs in the Long
Island community, including: astronomy, biology, botany, ecology, animal science,
chemistry, paleontology, oceanography, physics, and other scholarly areas. Our well
trained, dedicated, and professional staff are continuously developing new ideas for
hands-on science for children. they find learning exciting and challenging and pass this
enthusiasm and passion on to the children they teach. Our programs contain the most
current information in the specific areas of specialization. I am certain that we have a
program that will excite scientific interests in your child.
