This is a great lesson for kids in a classroom setting. Tell
them to find and circle Jesus in the puzzle. As soon as they find
Him have kids come up and show you. As each one shows you that he has
found Jesus, tell him, "You found Jesus, now you will receive something
good!" and give him a little piece of candy. Have students continue to
find and circle the name Jesus while they wait their turn and while
they wait for the others to find Jesus.
After all the students have "found" Jesus, read them John 3:16
from the Bible. Tell them about how God loved us so much that He
sent His only son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. Tell them
that every person who finds Jesus will receive forgiveness of their
sins, and the sweet joy and peace of a right relationship with God.
Then tell them that finding Jesus is easier than finding His name
in the puzzle. He is always right with us ready to hear our
prayers, and guide us in the right way to live. The teacher may want
to tell his own testimony of how he found Jesus or have a guest
visit the class and give their testimony of how they found Jesus.
