Sample -- Recruiting the High School Athlete

  1. Many athletes think college coaches and recruiters will automatically "knock at-the-door". This is the exception. Only the "BLUE CHIPPERS" get the knock! The marginal and less than 5-star athlete must actively pursue his own recognition. You must be aggressive and assertive in your chase of the dream.
  2. Many athletes play on a team that has a poor record; hence, they never get to a tournament or advance to a high enough level in competition which will promote the proper exposure. Also many coaches like to recruit from programs which are winning. Often the athlete on a losing team gets overlooked.
  3. Some athletes are not accurately projected as a college player for unknown reasons. Size sometimes is a limiting factor as is playing in the shadow of a true super-star. Positive promotion and constant communication with college coaches and recruiters will project the proper image which athletes need.

This is our most popular item and will help you understand and get started with the college selection process. The sooner you start this process the better. Don't wait until the athlete's senior year, start using the techniques outlined in the manual before their junior season.

Timing is everything -- get started now.
