Computing for Absolute Beginners
(ILA Provider’s course code: 52999)
Content customised to meet participant need but will usually include:

:	Switching on and setting up your own preferences.

:	Establishing what a computer can and cannot do.

:	Exploring the computer’s capabilities.

:	Writing letters and basic accounts work

:	Sending emails and using the Internet.

Cost: £125.00 (for a minimum total training time of 5 hours)

Computing for Users with Minimal Experience
(ILA Provider’s course code: 52998)
Content customised to meet participant need but will usually include:

:	Customising your computer

:	Handling files

:	Basic word processing

:	Working with simple spreadsheets and databases

:	Introduction to Desk Top Publishing (DTP)

:	Investigating other trainee requirements

Cost: £150.00 (minimum total training time of 6 hours)

Really Using Your Computer

Content customised to meet participant need but will usually include:

:	Working with word processing, spreadsheets and databases

:	Desk Top Publishing (DTP)

:	Using graphics

:	Introduction to website design and publishing

:	Installing new hardware
