If your thoughts have already turned towards holidays, you may like to consider the delights of a ‘little cottage in the woods’. If so, Skansen could be the ideal place for you. Situated in the Värmland region of Sweden. It is 8 Km. south of the E18 [Oslo - Stockholm road] and approximately 30 Kms. SE of Årjäng. Although it is secluded - the nearest house is 500m and the closest shop about 10 Km., Skansen has mains electricity, running water, an indoor WC, large sitting room, dining kitchen and 3 bedrooms accommodating up to 8 people. There is a sunny veranda and a large grassed area for playing - with the occasional elk wandering through - then deep forest in all directions [see aerial photograph]! |
