This site still contains a page on the RFC involvement in the health issues regarding textiles and the protection they provide from solar uv radiation.
Roger Clifton chairs a BSI committee investigating many of the issues involved and represents the UK on the EU committee formulating European legislation.

This page now contains a preview of the proposed pictogram (largely designed by RFC). This is to be used for garments conforming to the new EU labelling standard which will shortly be issued for Public Enquiry.

Is your organisation in need of a new image? Are you thinking about publishing your own web site or perhaps just of presenting your organisation in a new way?
Using leaflets to promote your organisation is all very well but there are so many of them around, reading them can be tedious.
Now there is a new opportunity to market yourself in a way that is excitingly different!
Consider for a moment...
Virtually everyone now has access to a video player
Video cassettes can cost less than £2 and are easy to copy
Most organisations now have a PC and a floppy costs 25p
The Internet is the fastest growing promotional tool
Regular updating is easy and inexpensive

Amazing fishing is within walking distance and there are 2 golf courses easily reached by car.

All this could be yours for as little as £240 per week - that’s just £30 per person for a party of eight! Send Email for more details.

P.S. - We also have a Guest Book which you might like to sign before you leave...thank you!

We also continue to host the official page of the Scottish-Swedish Society and if you should fancy a real ‘getaway from it all’ holiday in the heart of the Swedish forest for as little as £30/person/week, just scroll downêêê

Would you like personal, ‘hands-on’ computer tuition for just £25/hr or considerably less if you use your ILA*?

Do you need this training to be wholly customised to meet your needs and delivered by an experienced trainer and not just a computer ‘whizz-kid’?
RFC have a range of training courses, all of which are registered for your individual Learning Account (ILA) designed to exactly meet these criteria. Our Provider Code is 015540102. These courses are available to any individual or small organisation wishing to use a computer and are delivered in a ‘comfortable’ environment using your own equipment or provided by RFC
and your ILA grant will cover most of the cost!
Go to Our Services for more details.
A new innovation for this update is the introduction of a simple ‘quick-click’ form for e-mailing back your request for further information about RFC ie easy E-form.
The www.bullyoff.com (designed by RFC) is now also up and running. Created as a consequence of Jo Clifton’s book - ‘Bully Off!’ (co-written by Heather Serdar), it deals with the issue of workplace bullying. It also has a live message board facility for people to openly enter comments, problems etc so that others can respond.

Within days your organisation could be seen in a new light. Within a week YOU could have your own web site up and running and be telling the whole world about the services you provide!
And it needn’t cost the earth. Depending on your chosen media, it could cost less than £200!
Just contact RFC (tel 01577 840531) or use our new Eform. We may then arrange a ‘no obligation’ meeting

Do you have a PC costing hundreds of pounds which hardly ever gets used?

If your thoughts have already turned towards holidays, you may like to consider the delights of a ‘little cottage in the woods’. If so, Skansen could be the ideal place for you. Situated in the Värmland region of Sweden. It is 8 Km. south of the E18 [Oslo - Stockholm road] and approximately 30 Kms. SE of Årjäng. Although it is secluded - the nearest house is 500m and the closest shop about 10 Km., Skansen has mains electricity, running water, an indoor WC, large sitting room, dining kitchen and 3 bedrooms accommodating up to 8 people. There is a sunny veranda and a large grassed area for playing - with the occasional elk wandering through - then deep forest in all directions [see aerial photograph]!
