We have worked at all levels from giving policy advice to Ministers and drafting national policy guidelines, through to actual counselling of SMEs.

We have particular expertise in the following areas:

• development of SME policy, including establishment of policy-making institutions, research and analysis, reports on the SME sector, consultation with representative organisations, production of policy proposals for funding

• establishment of SME support organisations, including locally based enterprises agencies, incubator houses, national networks, and information services

• provision of finance to the SME sector both through the banking sector and external to it, including design and operation of credit lines, micro credit schemes, guarantee schemes, and seed and venture capital.
