Newham Council

Newham's web site is growing fast and already has a great deal of information on local services. Has recently provided facilities for feedback on service provision.



Newham Youth Parliament

Project to explore the use of online technologies as a means of involving young people in local affairs. Age range 11-25. Project initiated by Gavin Sealey of Little Ilford Youth Centre and supported by LBN and UKCOD.



NewTel

Organisation that exists to help Newham voluntary sector organisations to benefit from the net. Site has a lot of useful information and resources.



Pier Training Shop

Actually more a precinct than a shop! - provides adult training with associated childcare in North Woolwich. Has a fully equipped computer training centre. The site gives info. on staff, courses and organisation.



New City Primary School

The first school in Newham to have full Internet access and a Web page. Its very well worth a visit and shows how the technology can be used to build relationships between schools and people in different countries.



Stephen Timms M.P.

Stephen is the Labour M.P. for Newham North East. He used to be Leader of Newham Council but then moved on to greater things. His Web page is maintained by a private company but he answers his own eMail.



Forest Gate Youth Centre
