I live in a flat rented from a housing co-operative that I share with my partner, Ruth Wareing. Our flat is in the borough of Newham which is in the East End of London (U.K) and is about 10 mins walk from Stratford Station which is on the Central Line.
I am executive director of Newham.net Limited (www.newham.net), which is probably the world's smallest broadcaster, ISP and telecommunications company. It is a community enterprise that manages a local broadband network and has developed the UK's most advanced Internet Protocol Television service (IPTV) on the Carpenters Estate in Stratford. I also carry out project management and research work in my role as a self employed consultant trading as CoSpec.
My voluntary commitments include being a director of Community Economy Ltd, Chair of Maintenance for Longlife Housing Co-op Ltd. Director of Newham Online and technical advisor to the Newham Chamber of Commerce
