Several of the descendants of Gabriel Schuler of Skippack, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (c.1672-1779) are engaged in compiling a book on the Schuler family in America. The lists in the pages that follow are meant to allow other Schuler family researchers to see if their own Schuler lines might merge with that of Gabriel Schuler of Skippack. Due to space and privacy considerations, only the essential facts which we have uncovered regarding the first six known generations of Gabriel Schuler's family are included in these pages. In all, we have collected information concerning 11 generations of Gabriel Schuler's family.
The descendants of Gabriel Schuler are known to have "settled" in the following areas, among others: Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, Berks, Lehigh, Lancaster, Northumberland and Lycoming Counties in Pennsylvania; Wabash County, Indiana; Faribault, Blue Earth, Anoka and Hennepin Counties in Minnesota; Woodson and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas; western Missouri; Idaho; Utah; North Dakota; Texas; Washington; and Los Angeles, Orange, Imperial and Santa Clara Counties in California.
