Cage Fee: $0.50 per entry. An entry fee of $4.00 must be paid by each exhibitor.

RABBITS

  1. Only 20 entries per family - first 250 rabbits. Connecticut residents given priority. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SENT TO THE SHOW SUPERINTENDENTS. There will be a charge of $0.50 for each change over one.
  2. This is an ARBA Show and ARBA rules will be followed. Rabbits are to have a black tattoo in left ear. Only purebred rabbits will be accepted and will be judged by American Standard of perfection. Senior, 6-8 months, and junior.
  3. Entries will close on July 18, 1997.
  4. The Rabbit Building will be open on Friday, July 25 from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
  5. Judging will be held on Saturday, July 26 or at the convenience of the judge.
  6. NO rabbits are to be removed from building before 6:00 P.M., Sunday, July 27.
  7. Cages must be emptied by 7:00 P.M., Sunday, July 27.
  8. All entries must be free from any evidence of infectious or transmissible disease. Final decision of the health of entries will be determined by the Superintendents. Animals under 8 weeks of age will not be accepted.
  9. Feed will be supplied and rabbits fed by committee.
  10. If exhibitors wish to sell stock they must be present at the time of the sale and make all necessary arrangements with the purchaser for removal at the PROPER TIME. NO stock may be removed before 6:00 P.M. Sunday. Only animals entered may be sold.
  11. The National ARBA Convention held at Madison, Wisconsin - Oct 26-30, 1997.

A TROPHY will be given for Best Rabbit of Show will be donated by Vaill's Bunny Farm and Best Reserve Trophy by Misty Morning Rabbitry.

CAVIES

Cavies will be judged by American Standard of Perfection. The same rules will apply as the Rabbit Show.

Classes will be: Senior Boar, Senior Sow, Intermediate Boar, Intermediate Sow, Junior Boar, Junior Sow.
