Entries for all CWA contests are to be at the Fairgrounds by 9:00 A.M. Friday, July 25, 1997. Judging will begin at 9:30 a. m.
The National Grange Contests ("Harvest of Handicrafts and stuffed toys) are open to members and NON-MEMBERS alike. Contact your local Grange or Norma DePietro for information.
Entries must be entered through a Subordinate level. First place winners only are eligible for next higher judging. Pomona committee is responsible for getting the First Place entries in each class to the Fairgrounds on time.
Any number of entries may be submitted, but a person may win only one award. All toys become the property of the State CWA and will be given to children in hospitals throughout Connecticut. Information available from all local Granges. Youth class, ages 5-15, and Adult class, 16 and older.
Open to Grange members and their children only. Elimination at each Subordinate level or Junior Grange. First place winners from each Grange enter at the State level. All entries are to be donated and sold to help support CWA projects. Submit 7 (1 1/2 to 2 inch) squars on a disposable plate marked on bottom with name and Grange. Youth class, ages 5-15, and Adult class, 16 and older. (This should be placed in a plastic bag ).
No limit on number of entries. Contest is open to Grange members and their children only. Competition at the State Level only. All entries become the property of the State CWA and will be donated to the Grange Building at Eastern States Exposition and other worthy causes.Youth class, ages 5-15, and Adult class, - 16 and older.
