Judging will start at 10:00 A.M. Items must remain in place until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday.
1 C. Shortening 1/2 C. Brown Sugar 1/2 C. Granulated Sugar 1 Egg 1 Tblsp. Orange Rind 1/4 Cup Orange Juice 2 3/4 C. sifted Flour 1 tsp. Soda 1/2 tsp. Salt
Cream together shortening and sugars. Add egg, orange rind, orange juice, and blend. Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well. Chill dough until it can be shaped. From into 1 1/2 inches in rolls. Wrap in waxed paper and chill. Slice 1/8 inch thick. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350' F for 10 to 12 minutes.
