How to meet Penguins in their Natural Habitat
If you want to go to see penguins in the wild you will need to travel to
one of the many places they live. Most of these places are very remote
islands in the Southern Ocean and can only be reached by scientific expeditions,
or, on rare occasions, by very special tourist cruise ships. There are
however, still several places that independent travellers can go and see
penguins close up in the wild.
We have prepared information on separate pages about the various
tour operators who arrange trips to Antarctica
and the difficult to reach Islands in the Southern Ocean and about the
different places where you can see the penguins.
