These notes cover the distinguishing features of the species and of any sub-species, typical heights and weights of the birds, a map indicating the main breeding locations of the species (and any sub-species), a description of the terrain in which the birds nest, the sort of nests they build and the ways in which the adults care for their young.  We also list the typical diet of the species.
