In July 2000 a major oil spill affected about 40% of all African Penguins - the re-location, cleaning and rehabilitation of around 40,000 penguins was probably the most successful wildlife rescue project ever.The rescue was co-ordinated by SANCCOB - if you want to help them with future rehabilitation why not make a small donation?
