We occasionally hear of places where penguins are kept in captivity that cannot be classified as Zoos or Aquaria. The most notable are:

 The Hilton Hotel, Honolulu, Hawaii. There is a small outdoor pool inside the hotel complex where about 10 African penguins are kept in good conditions. The climate is actually quite good for African Penguins and they appear to be quite happy to live here.

 The Hilton Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. We haven't seen these African Penguins, but we understand they are well looked after. However, the climate is probably a little too hot for them to be really comfortable.
