RS232

RS232.exe is a program I wrote for myself. If you find it useful, good.

RS232 is useful when testing applications and hardware that communicate over a serial line.

• it displays displays any characters that it receives in the Receive pane
• if you type into the Transmit pane, the keystrokes will be transmitted

RS232 has three extra modes which I find useful:

Modem emulator

emulates a "standard" modem

Dialer

acts as a dialer for a "standard" modem.

Script

allows you to write and run small programs

Freeware
