EditHelp - New commands

The following features are new in version 1.45 of EditHelp:

• fixes a (non-existent) error reported by WinHelp under Windows 98, 2000 and NT on exit from EditHelp

• {nowrap} turns off/on line wrapping
  
• {sublink=100,My Link} a link to half way through a topic
  
• {dest=100,keyword;a;b;c} destination of a sublink
  
• {include} filename - includes text file
  
• {hlp} conditional: the following text is compiled only in HTML files
  
• {html} conditional
  
• {txt} conditional
  
• {all} conditional
  
• {none} conditional
  
• {linkhtml=http://...} foreign html link
  
• {undl} underline
  
• {date} compilation date
  
• {time} compilation time
  
• {html=...} insert raw html.
  
• {dllstr=...} call a DLL to insert short text at compile time (cannot include crlf)
  
• {dlltext=...} call a DLL to insert long text at compile time (can include crlf)

• the keyword list of a topic can be longer than 255 characters

• the HelpFile|MakeThisTopic command now works properly with the internal compiler

• bold & Italic now work together

• a different font at the end of the page used to be carried forward to the next page

• bitmaps can be at left or right {bitmap=left,sample.bmp}

• too many Topic Search Index Keys no longer sends the Internal Compiler crazy

• the Status dialog now allows you to copy the topic list to clipboard:

• saves EBK file as a backup of the EDH

• various new speedbuttons

• the internal/external compiler switch has been moved to HelpFile menu

• no longer crashes when reading an EDH file containing a string > 254 chars

• a history of the most recently visited topics

• all the strings of the Delphi "Wizard" are in a String Table so you can customise it to your own language

• built-in editor for ALIAS.EPJ, CONFIG.EPJ, etc.

• File|Import| and File|Export| submenu added

• allows a CITATION up to 255 chars

• new way of inserting char > #127 - Spr{252}nge

• allows Minimum Topic Number

• a history list of the last 5 files opened

• Writes Win95 CNT file

• HTML now uses heading 3 not heading 2 for sub-headings

• in HTML, if bold at end of paragraph - now unbolds it for the next para

• "Spoof" WinHelp.exe has two functions: it will display all calls that any application makes to WinHelp.
  
• It will show what parameters are passed so you can copy them. That can be useful if you want to cross connect your HLP file to someone else's and don't know the topic context names.
  
• if the current EDH file opened by EditHelp has the same filename as the application then, when the application calls WinHelp, EditHelp will create or display the corresonding topic
  
• "Spoof" WinHelp.exe doesn't work properly under Win 95 - the way WinHelp is called seems to have changed.
