Having Cerebral Palsy dramatically affects my life. C.P. physically challenges me, so I get around via electric scooter. Rather than simply limiting my life, the Cerebral Palsy has provided me with a far more interesting life and outlook. As people grow up, our culture sneaks in rules and sets roles. Being different gave me a real opportunity to find my own rules and roles.

It is a funny thing that while North American culture on the surface promotes originality and freedom of choice, many people and groups are still facing oppression, both physical and mental, subtle and not so subtle ways. I have met people from all walks of life, some high up the social latter in the mainstream sense and those who are perceived to be outside the social norm. Yet, it is just those times and persons who can offer the greatest opportunity to learn and grow. With wisdom in hand, when the conversation stops and a room falls uneasily quiet, for example when someone has just disclosed that they are an erotic entrepreneur, in the middle of some social gathering, those are the exact times to learn something about oneself. Because, emotions, preconceptions and fears have briefly broken through social behavior. Take a deep breath--ask yourself why you feel that way and dare not to judge, both yourself and those around you. Because to be truly different is a vulnerability, often lifelong, which most, in the mainstream never, deal with.

I continue to learn, be challenged, and appreciate joy on new levels thanks to just such people and friendships. Feel free to write me if the above paragraph speaks to you, in one way or another. It was added on the spur of the moment pretty much verbatim via dictation software. Just a little bit of late-night inspiration which I hope will encourage everyone to learn from what is different. Because often something different is really something "new" which just has not been tried yet.

I am very fortunate to have friends and family who come from a wide range of backgrounds, each of whom have blazed their own trail in life. (My Father calls them "Patrick's Fringe Friends.", and he always has an odd crooked smile on his face when he says this.) Could there be a little bit of the "fringe" in dad? The longer I live the more interesting life becomes: My passions range from Electronics and the Internet, to Wicca. Don't mistake my broad range of interests for lack of focus. Simply put: Life is too short to focus on only one aspect. It is my hope that you will find this site both useful and diverse in content.

I create web sites on a contract basis, for both personal and business clients. Services include:
