CURRENT PROGRAMME

The following is the year 2008 sailing programme as currently planned in outline. It will be modified from time to time as people express an interest in any particular period and start to make travel and joining plans. The number of berths still available  (to date 4 May 2008) is shown in parentheses at the end of  each line. Where no number is specified, all 4 crew berths are still vacant.

For the passage from Rhu to Malta: The length of rest/refuelling/re-storing stops on passage has been increased to give an estimate of  what will hopefully be the maximum time for the overall passage, allowing for delays due to weather, as well as increased opportunity for sightseeing. To avoid delays caused by crew changes, and to afford maximum planning flexibility, it would be appreciated if crew joining at intermediate ports would arrange to arrive on the date when ZAMORA is estimated to arrive at that port, while those leaving should arrange to depart on ZAMORA's estimated date of departure. If we arrive earlier than programmed , then we will of course wait. However it is appreciated that incomers might have to find temporary shore accommodation if we are delayed, and outgoers might have to do likewise if we decide to leave early. Intermediate ports and/or lengths of stay may be altered where nobody is planned to arrive or depart and this benefits the overall passage.
