de pli ol 10 jaroj okazas Esperanto-tago en Barlastono komence de marto
– tradicie la unuan sabaton de la monato. La
tago celas komencintojn / progresantojn kaj la diversaj ekzercoj orientiĝas
laŭ iliaj bezonoj. Ĉefe, tamen, la tago ebligas al
partoprenantoj paroli la lingvon kaj uzi ĝin en praktikaj, ĉiutagaj
situacioj. Alivorte la tago taŭgas por tiuj, kiuj jam studis la
gramatikon sed kiuj deziras nun apliki la teoriajn sciojn jam akiritajn. Notindas,
ke oni uzas la lingvon ne nur en la klasĉambro sed ankaŭ dum
la kaf- kaj tepaŭzoj kaj dum la tagmanĝo. Dum
la tago eblos viziti la Esperanto-centron kaj aĉeti librojn,
kompaktdiskojn, ktp, kaj informiĝi pri la diversaj servoj de
Esperanto-Asocio de Britio (EAB). Ne
eblas dum la tago prizorgi komencantojn sed, se prezentus sin komencanta
grupeto (ekz. membroj de loka klubo), kiu tamen deziris kun sia
instruisto partopreni la tagon kaj aranĝi propran programon (kaj
samtempe renkonti aliajn esperantistojn), ĝi estus tre bonvena. English
For
more than 10 years an Esperanto day has taken place in Barlaston at the
start of March – traditionally on the first Saturday of the month. The
day is aimed at post-beginners and intermediate students of the language
and reflects their needs. The main object of the day is to enable
participants to speak the language and use it in practical, everyday
situations. In other words, the day is suitable for those who have
already studied grammar but who now wish to apply the theoretical
knowledge they have acquired. It
should be noted that the language is used not only in the classroom but
also during coffee- and tea-breaks and during lunch. It
is also possible during the day to visit the Esperanto-Centre and buy
books or CDs, etc, and find out about the various services offered by
the Esperanto-Association of Britain (EAB). It
is not possible to cater for absolute beginners but, if a beginners’
group (perhaps members of a local club) wished to participate with its
teacher, arranging its own programme of study, and thereby meet other
esperantists, it would be most welcome to do so. Paul Gubbins |
