The following images come from Harry A. Itter's 1938 study, Geomorphology of the Wyoming-Lackawanna Region. Itter, a student of Douglas W. Johnson, applied Johnson's theories regarding Appalachian peneplanation and glacial topography to the Lackawanna valley and surrounding areas.
