H LLOYD CYCLES.

H Lloyd are the biggest supplier of aftermarket classic cycle transfers in the world. Nearly 20 years of experience enables us to supply the best available transfers with the largest choice. It is quite difficult to supply transfers that exactly match originals on really large manufacturers like Raleigh or BSA as they literally released thousands of different transfers in their many years of trading. Often it will be more a matter of echoing the style of the year of cycle manufacture. On other makers, and particularly the English lightweight makers, an exact match can usually be achieved. For example every type of Claud Butler down-tube transfer is available from the 1930's to the early 1970's. (Or so we believe - prove us wrong !).

Our stock of transfers gives availability to off-the-shelf stock, rare small volume stock (that will often not be listed - please ask !) and specials that can be run in a variety of different mediums. All will help you get your renovation just right. Lloyd's are the supplier to all well-known sprayers in the UK, and to countless others the world over - particularly America and Japan.

You really have found the best. Take a good look through the lists and make sure your cycling friends see what's available. You'll not find better anywhere.

PLEASE read all the following guff, it's actually quite important !!

The brief descriptions that follow give approx sizes in millimetres. Reference letters are for ordering. Please ensure you state colour required where a choice is given. All prices are each unless otherwise stated. This means that if you want a pair of down-tube transfers you need to order two. This may seem a bit odd, but it gives you the opportunity to order exactly what you need.

Transfers are sent in self-seal plastic bags inside a board-backed envelope with full application instructions.

As a number of people ask anyway I have started to add "type" indicators to new stock. This shows the method of application:-

W = Waterslide

D = "Dryfix"

V = Varnish fix

P = Plastic (self-adhesive)

L = Laser-cut vinyl

S = Self-adhesive

H = Hand finished

C = Cut and printed

"Hand finished" transfers are just that. They are produced in small quantities on specially made paper. They work out a little expensive but give excellent results if used with care. It is also possible to produce "one-off" transfers by this method. You will need to phone to discuss details, but a brief outline appears below.

"Plastic" transfers are screen printed onto thin, clear vinyl. They are not quite as finely finished as "traditional" transfers and work out a little cheaper as a result.

Cut and printed decals are produced on thin white vinyl. We use ten year vinyl for this process which is exceedingly high quality, UV and temperature stable. Needless to say the base material is therefore twice the price of what you'd expect of "normal" vinyl. They are printed onto the vinyl and then edge cut. Quality is excellent, but they do not hug the tube quite as closely as a waterslide or varnish fix. They can be varnished over. The degree of customisation and special order is similar to that of the hand-finished transfers.

Special orders can be taken for small quantity water-slide transfers for clubs, shops etc. These can either by the one-off process mentioned above, or commercially printed in which case the minimum order is 100-off.

"HAND-FINISHED" TRANSFERS

This is a new and unique process in which Lloyds have invested heavily. It enables water-slide transfers to be produced in very small quantities. It is not possible to give price indications without knowing what’s required but we can now make to your design or special requirement. Please phone for a discussion or fax a sketch to get a price indication. This service is not available elsewhere. In theory anything is possible ! All of Lloyd’s artwork is now computer generated so if you are computer literate why not dream up your own down-tube label or your name for the top-tube ? If you can quote a type face name to us the whole process of developing a special transfer for you becomes easier.

Oh dear. Never suggest that you are a "specialist" ! Everyone seems to have read this as "Expert", which I'm not. The section on Benelux in the list still applies, but a lot of requests have been received for Benelux information in general. How to Order from H LLOYD CYCLES

Reference letters are for ordering. Please ensure you state colour required where a choice is given. All prices are each unless otherwise stated. This means that if you want a pair of down-tube transfers you need to order two. This may seem a bit odd, but it gives you the opportunity to order exactly what you need. Transfers are sent in sealed bags inside a board-backed envelope with full application instructions.

All prices are in £ Sterling. Please add £1 P & P.

For export orders please additional 3% (minimum £1.50) to cover airfreight.

Terms are strictly cash or cheque with order unless export (see below).

For export please send Sterling draft, local currency draft(see below), CASH by registered post, or pay via PAYPAL.

For local currency drafts please add £9 AND 2% (converted at buy/sell mid-point). This covers our bank expenses in the UK
