Evangelistic Crusades
with Evangelist Howard Baldwin
Howard Baldwin (pictured above in blue) is the President of Multi-Media Evangelism in Richmond, Virginia. He has been a pastor in Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, and England. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond and of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky where he now serves on the Board of Trustees. At the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, Howard served eight years as a trustee. Since 1970 he has been in the ministry of evangelism having led evangelistic crusades and revivals throughout the United States and in England, Canada, Brazil, Nigeria, Argentina, Korea, Romania, Estonia, Ukraine, India and Russia.
In Evangelistic Crusades he uses Messages in Art. As a boy, Howard developed a keen interest in Art. His ambition was to one day become a commerical artist, but the Lord had other plans for his life. Early in his teens Howard was called to preach. With a special call to the ministry of evangelism, he put aside all ideas of an art career. During college he attended an evangelistic service where Karl Steel was presenting a "Sermon in Art". Here was a way of presenting the Gospel in a new and dynamic medium that would combine Howard's deep interest in art with his call to preach the Gospel. A new door had swung open.
Since that time Howard has been using this God-given talent to present the Good News of Christ, first as a pastor and now in the ministry of evangelism. With specially engineered equipment, stereo sound and ultra-violet ray lighting, the gospel messages come alive in a new dimension which communicates to young and old alike.
