THIS ILLUSTRATES MY INTEREST IN IMAGING, NOT MY HOME ENVIRONMENT!
This site is about two of my principal interests that I enjoy sharing:- 1) Imaging, both photographic and digital. 2) Science, metaphysics, and particularly the boundary between them. I attempt to keep a foot in the science and arts camps, hoping to balance rational and aesthetic drives. 1. PHOTOGRAPHY & DIGITAL IMAGINGA selection of 54 of my images, split into seven categories. The gallery index leads to panels of thumbnail images and thence to images at monitor screen resolution. (Many new images June 1999)
What motivates me; my progression from photography to digital imaging. Details of my equipment, and specifications of my images. A selection of favourite imaging sites on the World Wide Web
2. SCIENCE AND METAPHYSICSA) SCIENCEAn outline of my interests, with a selection of hyperlinks to favourite specialist sites.
A glance at the relationship between science and society and hyperlinks for further study. B) METAPHYSICS
thoughts about the journey, particularly regarding that age-old imponderable; the nature of consciousness. These outline discussions are sprinkled with hyperlinks to specialist sites for anyone wishing to pursue the topics in greater depth.
References to any relevant and important hyperlinks not mentioned will be welcome
Offered as a discussion document, this section includes three conceptual figures suggesting, without getting too technical, that reality has more dimensions than our senses suggest. The latest scientific theories indicate that there are more tan three dimensions of space, but apart from that, this discussion document, suggests that emotions are not emergent from brain matter, but as belonging to other non-physical dimensions with which the brain is mysteriously interfaced. Constructive criticism is welcome! "God is not dead: He is alive and well but working on a much less ambitious project!" Graffito, London 1975 3.
